Summer in the Lungau

Lungau in summer is the ideal area to de-stress, effort and relaxed

The area has lots to offer for our summer guests. It is located on a sunny plateau between the Tauern and the Nock and is very versatile with forests, mountain meadows, mountain lakes and traditional mountain huts located in one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Europe. Many walks start directly from the inn. You can leave your car safely. There is a large network of well-marked walks. Walks to just get some fresh air or a day out with perhaps a packed lunch.

For children, many special themed walks such as forest-path, a bee-path, an adventure walk and much more.

Anyhow, the children will not get bored with us. There are plenty to do fun things for the whole family. The free LungauCard is free to visit the medieval castle or the castle where once witches were condemned. Also to visit, there are several museums, or take a ride on the steam train. You can read more fully in the section “Children in the Lungau.

In summer it is also possible to join the family week. In the morning we go out with the kids. You will then have the time to take some yourself, or enjoy the tranquility of course.
