The Lungau is perfect for exploring by bicycle! This is not only due to the combination of the wide, open valley with the many charming side valleys. But also because there is a carefully signposted network of varied routes here.
Gasthof Auwirt is located on the famous long-distance cycle route ‘Murradweg’. Part of this route can be cycled from our guesthouse.
There is the possibility to rent e-bikes. This makes even higher alpine huts “accessible”. Numerous battery charging stations enrich the infrastructure for a perfect cycling vacation in Salzburg Lungau.
Of course, you can also bring your own bicycle, which can then be stored in our garage.
If you come to the mountains to make some serious altitude gains, you can go in all directions from Sankt Michael. Very fun and challenging are the 17 special MTB routes through the mountains with the Lungau EXTREM tour as absolute highlight!
